Life Groups

Life Groups are a vital part of the overall ministry at CBC. No church can meet the needs of every individual during the Sunday worship service alone, therefore we encourage people to also be a part of a Life Group.

CBC Life Groups are the basic building blocks of community in the church. Our Life Groups are small, but powerful living tools that put you in touch with people who aim to grow and multiply in Christ. You will find a welcoming place to grow in Christ, nourish your spiritual strength and develop friendships.

“At home” weekly meetings will allow you to surround yourself with people who desire to grow in Christ-likeness in every facet of life, while encouraging others to do the same. Our charge is to “do life together”!

In addition, we understand the need to reach out to others in our communities; lending a helping hand wherever it is needed. This includes opening up our Life Groups for anyone to drop in at any time of the year.

First of all, you should expect to see a group of people having fun! CBC Life Group meetings grow out of six very important parts:

Welcome—starting off on the right foot
Worship—setting our hearts and minds towards God
Word—making sure God’s Word is studied in different ways
Works—applying God’s truths to our everyday lives
Walk in prayer—developing daily communication with God
We eat! What would a Life Group be without a snack or dessert?
