Family and Work Life: Ben and Kelly were married in 2000 and have 4 children: Evan, Taylor, Myles and Adelynn. Ben started his home building career in 2001 and is also a licensed realtor. He also served as a volunteer firefighter in Kearney until 2024.
On describing Cornerstone: Gospel-centered and welcoming. Ben appreciates the expositional teaching every week from God’s Word that highlights the truth and impact of the gospel. He also is grateful for the sincere love and care that the members of Cornerstone have for one another that is brought about through living and active faith.
His Testimony: Ben is grateful for being raised in a godly home and brought up in the faith. At a young age, he understood that he was a sinner in need of the saving grace that is provided through the death and resurrection of Christ and he committed his life to trust and follow Jesus through all of life’s challenges and blessings.
Bible “hero”: Abraham – because of his faith, obedience, and generosity.
Hobbies: Spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, golfing, working on projects, playing cards and board games.
