The revelation of Christ and His kingdom will bring to light the true condition of the heart and will either result in embrace and enlightenment or in exclusion. 

Receptivity to the gospel is dependent upon the soil condition of the heart, so always be tilling the soil of your heart with the gospel.

Those who are aware of their great sin and great need and who receive Jesus’ forgiveness will be those whose love for Him and mercy toward others will be great.

The King and His kingdom have come, but our misaligned hopes and desires scandalize us against them both.

When He who is life meets death, His pity moves Him to reach out with power to restore life and hope to the needy.
