The incarnation of Christ was a rescue operation in which God Himself provided the means for our redemption and forgiveness, resulting in our reconciliation and peace with God.
There will be visible manifestations of the work of God’s Word in believers that will include endurance through the inevitable opposition faithful followers will face.
Rightly understood, the gospel motivates us to continually give thanks to God, not only for His work in and through us, but for all things.
When God’s Word is received and believed for what it truly is, it does the work of gospel transformation that God intends.
The apostles’ conduct among the Thessalonians demonstrated the life-shaping power of the gospel and set an example for them to follow in their own lives and community.
The message of the gospel is true, and its truth is supported and strengthened by the integrity of the messengers God sent.
Conversion is a complete reorientation of life that is confirmed by a repudiation of idolatry, an active devotion to God, and an eager anticipation of Jesus’ return.
The Thessalonians received the gospel with joy despite great tribulation and became an example to many by standing firm in their faith and by faithfully taking up their mission. 
The way the gospel came to the Thessalonians demonstrates that salvation is an effectual work of God and not due to any human effort, and this should humble us and…
