If you belong to Christ, you died to sin, meaning that you have been set free from sin’s dominion and are no longer subject to its authority or power.
God created His people to live and worship in community which means that we have responsibilities to one another in respect to the life and worship of our community.
Because all people bear the image of God, life is sacred and every person should be treated with dignity and respect even in grossly corrupted circumstances.
Proven faith that endures will respond to trials and temptations with God-oriented wisdom.
What we know about God’s gracious design for our suffering enables us to meet trials and temptations with the radical response of authentic joy.
Life in a sin-corrupted world will mean facing terrifying troubles that will require a well-reasoned faith and that will result in tensions among real-life realities.
A righteous system of justice protects the innocent in particular and the community in general and represents the holy love of God.
